Summary and Suggestions
Despite the distance between Indonesia and the Philippines, we managed to travel there safe and sound. We had to take two flights to get there, one from Indonesia to Manila and the other from Manila to Iloilo. We used a fiber boat to cross the Iloilo river on our way to Guimaras Province, specifically the town of Buenavista, and land transportation going to Guimaras State University. It was indeed a complete travel.

My purpose in joining the Seateacher is to observe, practice, and learn about education outside my country, and it's complete now. Not only about the education, I also got the chance to learn about the culture and environment and got to know the people closely. Besides that, I got new stories, new memories, and new families.
The essence of joining the Seateacher Programme is full of experiences. The practice teaching that I did at both schools was completely memorable. Observation, discussion, preparation, practice, and evaluation process gave me the new strength and skills to become a better teacher in the future.
Having challenges during the program whether on observation or teaching practice is undeniable. Language sometimes could be a barrier or even a tool for us to connect ourselves with people, but the good thing is in Guimaras, there was no struggle to understand each other because we can communicate well by the time. I could say that education in the Philippines especially in communicating with the International language is better than in Indonesia, because most of the schools there already applied English at a very young age, since kindergarten.
Different kinds of characteristics, behaviors, and backgrounds are factors that we should consider in teaching the students, but those are also the things that make the process really interesting. We could share and talk so many things with each other, especially when they knew me as a person coming from another country, I could see some of them were really excited, as I was.
Guimaras is a beautiful place. The place I will never forget. I learned so many lessons, got so much experiences, made memories, and obtained a bunch of new families. I am deeply grateful to joined the Seateacher program and been sent to Guimaras State University. I would like to deliver my gratitude to God, My families, my Teachers, my Friends, and countless people that had been involved.
I hope the future students who will join this program, never underestimate everything including yourself, and be confident and curious, by the time you are brought into new places you can cherish the moments there forever. For Seameo and both Universities, I believe it would be best to not only focus on education, but the participants also could exchange culture by organizing special kind of events like we did at Guimaras State University.

Lastly, I would like to close this writing with some Motivational Life Quotes from both of my Cooperating Teachers from Supang and Buenavista National High School.
